Septarian - Natural Concrete & Calcite Tumble Stone

This is a natural concretion which is a hard, compact mass of sedimentary rock formed by the settlement of minerals in water with natural cement within the spaces between the sediment grains, creating highly variable patterns of yellow Calcite encased/ringed with Brown Aragonite.   The word Septum comes from the Latin word; partitions.  


All Calcites are helpful with emotional and mental conditions, assisting in lessening of fear and reducing stress a balancing stone suitable for when reconciliation is needed with in a home or workplace. 


Emotional and Spiritually Aragonite is said to be good for stilling the mind before mediation. May help stress and anger.


Calcite is Calcium Carbonate and occurs in almost every environment worldwide. Occurring in many forms and shapes of crystals, and in many types of deposits, which can produce a vibrant range of colours including orange, green, blue, yellow - Golden, red and clear, black.


Aragonite is a calcium carbonate mineral. It occurs in various colours, including white, grey, reddish, yellow-green and blue. The most popular varieties for metaphysical use are Red Aragonite and Blue Aragonite. Aragonite’s crystal system is orthorhombic, and it can be found in prismatic crystals, concretions, stalactitic masses or other forms.


Aragonite forms the skeleton of a number of marine organisms, either living or recently fossilised.

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth. 
(The Tumble stones we sell, have not been tumbled by ourselves)
