Labradorite Crystals

Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar, a sodium calcium aluminum silicate. It’s crystal structure is triclinic, usually in complex aggregates. It’s name is derived from the Labrador peninsula in Canada, where the stone was first found in 1770. It is treasured for it’s remarkable play of colour (labradorescence), which shows vivid flashes of green, blue, gold, orange, red and some times violet. Labradorite is found in Canada, Madagascar, Mexico, Russia and the United States.

Emotional properties of Labradorite are said it may aid in uncovering unconscious and subconscious belief patterns that generate unpleasant emotional states. It may help one to become clearly aware of the source beliefs, self-talk and egoic influence on one’s habitual emotional states.

Physical properties of Labradorite may help reveal the nature of ‘mystery illness’. It can show the patterns that have created disease and may amplify one’s healing thoughts and prayers.
