Campo del Cielo (meaning Field of Heaven or Field of the Sky) refers to a group of meteorites or the area where they were found. This area is situated on the border between the provinces of Chaco and Santiago del Estero, 1,000 kilometres northwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Campo del Cielo meteorite fell an estimated 4,000-5,000 years ago and is said to have landed at speeds of 14,000 kilometres per hour and hit the ground at almost a right angle, which created a shower of meteorites ranging in sizes from small stones weighing only a few grams to El Chaco, a huge piece weighing in at 37 tons and is second-largest intact meteorite in the world.
