Caribbean Calcite Sphere (REF:CCSP1)

Calcite is a very common and widespread mineral which comes in a variety of colours, such as White, Yellow, Red, Orange, Blue, Green, Brown, Grey.

It also occurs in a wide variety of forms, the molecular structure of the crystals is rhombohedral (cube like) but specimens can appear as as scalenohedrons (mirror image pyramid shape), prisms (triangle like), masses (consisting of or forming a large mass), stalactites (icicle like). 

Calcite makes up the major part of most marbles and limestones.

Caribbean Calcite despite its name is actually found in Pakistan. A combination of blue calcite and white, cream or brown aragonite. Its name is Caribbean Calcite is because of its resemblance to Caribbean beaches.
