CELESTITE

Celestite is also known as Celestine.  

Available as beautiful blue clusters or sometimes as a massive, or polished into nearly smooth crystals.

Celestite is distinguished by its high specific gravity(density), tabular crystals that resemble barite, relative softness and transparency to translucency.

Found in sedimentary deposits, veins and cavities, it is often associated with minerals such as gypsum and dolomite.  with localities of  Ohio, Michigan and New York in USA, also Madagascar, Sicily and Germany.

A lovely stone for connecting one to the Angels for support, especially when attending unwell love ones,  when extra strength and some company is needed to help keep you going.
