Danburite is a crystalline mineral which can look similar to Topaz. Like Topaz. Danburite is most often, colourless or white, but some specimens are wine-yellow or pale pink. The most abundant Danburite deposits are in Mexico, but crystals are also found in Russia, Madagascar, Bolivia, Burma and Japan. 

This is a mineral that grows in metamorphic rock.  Metamorphic rocks are formed from other rock that have changed due to earth heat or pressure.  Danburite is a calcium borosilicate crystal, its name is derived from its original discovery in Danbury, Connecticut, USA. Danburite crystals are orthorhombic and prismatic, with linear striations running parallel to the length of the crystal. Crystals are generally four-sided, and their terminations are usually chisel-shaped.

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth.
