Hand Wired Aquamarine Pendant (REF:HWA3)

Hand wired by us at London Fossils and Crystals this Aquamarine is hand wired using a gold coloured plated wire. This pendant will come with a natural hemp cord.

  

Blue Beryl or Aquamarine is a blue or blue-green variety of Beryl, a beryllium aluminium silicate mineral. Its crystal system is hexagonal (trigonal) and its pigment is iron.

History records its first use in Greece between 300 and 500 B.C. It’s name, derived from the Latin meaning ‘water of the sea’ is an apt description of the colour and clarity of fine Aquamarine crystals.

It has been mined in Brazil, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia, Africa and the United States.
