Blue Kyanite is said to strengthen the voice and may heal the throat and larynx. Considered useful for performance and public speakers.

Kyanite from the Greek word "kyanos", meaning "blue,"  the more commonly known colour of this mineral, but Kyanite comes in a variety of colours which can be slightly pearly:- Blue, Black, Green, Orange, as well as white, light grey, pink and yellow which are more unusual.

An aluminium silicate mineral with an unusual hardness quality, its crystal system is triclinic, it forms elongated, flat, blade like crystals. It occurs in Brazil, South Africa, Switzerland, Burma, Kenya, Scotland, Mexico and the USA.
