Labradorite is an emotional crystal, supporting and helping one to cope with all kinds of emotional feelings and problems.   With Labradorite's beautiful colours lifting ones spirit, assisting to strengthen a person to more positive and healing thoughts.

Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar, a sodium calcium aluminum silicate. Its crystal structure is triclinic, usually in complex aggregates. Its name is derived from the Labrador peninsula in Canada, where the stone was first found in 1770. It is treasured for its remarkable play of colour (labradorescence), which shows vivid flashes of green, blue, gold, orange, red and some times violet. Labradorite is found in Canada, Madagascar, Mexico, Russia and the United States.

Here at London Fossils Crystals I sell a wide range of Tumble Stones

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth.

(The Tumble stones we sell, have not been tumbled by ourselves)
