White Labradorite is more commonly known as ‘Rainbow Moonstone’ but it is actually a member of the Labradorite family from Madagascar.

Emotional properties of Labradorite are said it may aid in uncovering unconscious and subconscious belief patterns that generate unpleasant emotional states. It may help one to become clearly aware of the source beliefs, self-talk and egoic influence on one’s habitual emotional states.

Physical properties of Labradorite may help reveal the nature of ‘mystery illness’. It can show the patterns that have created disease and may amplify one’s healing thoughts and prayers.

As White Labradorite is very close in its composition to Moonstone it will share the beautiful properties of Moonstone as we know it:-

A feminine energy, and considered to help bring a balance to the male-feminine energies.

Moonstone is said to calm overreaction to situations, soothes emotional instability and stress, and stabilises the emotions.

Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar, a sodium calcium aluminium silicate. It’s crystal structure is triclinic, usually in complex aggregates. It’s name is derived from the Labrador peninsula in Canada, where the stone was first found in 1770. It is treasured for it’s remarkable play of colour (labradorescence), which shows vivid flashes of green, blue, gold, orange, red and some times violet. Labradorite is found in Canada, Madagascar, Mexico, Russia and the United States.

Here at London Fossils Crystals I sell a wide range of Tumble Stones

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth.

(The Tumble stones we sell, have not been tumbled by ourselves)
