Porphyry is a stone for strength, stamina and durability.

Porphyry is the name given to various granites or igneous rocks which contain coarse-grained crystals such as feldspar or quartz inclusions.  Usually a Brown to purple/red colour stone but may sometimes be found black, grey or green with the inclusions.

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth.
