Preseli Bluestone (Dolerite) 8g to 15g Tumbled Stone (Selected)

 

Preseli Blue Stone or Dolerite as it’s also known by, is from Preseli Hills, Pembrokeshire, West Wales.


The Preseli Hills provided the stone for Stonehenge, 5000 years ago.  These massive white spotted blue/green stones were moved 140 miles from Pembrokeshire, and was used in the inner or ‘healing ring’ of stones at Stonehenge.   


Dolerite (Preseli Blue Stone) tumble to smooth finish, an ideal pocket size stone, small enough to carry around with you. Tumble stones can also be placed around the home for their energies or can just be nice decorative items.

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth. 

(The Tumble stones we sell, have not been tumbled by ourselves)
