Blue Tiger Eye is said to be a calming stone and releases stress. It may aid the overanxious quick-tempered.

All the different colours of Tiger Eye have a collective energy and physicality, a protective stone and can bring a balance to our self from extreme difficulty.

Individually each type of Tiger Eye will have its own attributes and properties.

Blue Tiger Eye is a chatoyant gemstone with a silky lustre. A member of the quartz group, it is a classic example of pseudomorphous replacement by silica of fibrous crocidolite (blue asbestos). 

Polished stone can be handled by rough pieces need careful handling and hand washing.

Found in four different variants, Golden Tiger Eye, Blue Tiger Eye, Red Tiger Eye and it can also come labeled as Hawks Eye, which is so called because of a rounded circular patten on one side of the mineral which to some say resembles that of an eye. 

Also another variant that can be found is what’s known as Tiger Iron. This is branded stone containing layers of Tiger Eye, Jasper and Hematite. Information on the particular stone will be cover in a separate section.

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth.
